OK, I’m a huge fan of celebrating just about any holiday I can get my hands on. It doesn’t need to be something that I’ve grown up with or that is in any way associated with me via religion or culture. It just needs to be something fun that gives us an excuse to celebrate. In fact, with Little Man (and with my university classes I should add…) I find that celebrating holidays from other cultures and religions is a great way to make people and customs that seem “exotic” and “foreign” suddenly feel less “strange” and more fun.
